Dr. Kamala Ghaey

Board Certified in Pediatrics
Dr. Kamala Ghaey graduated from Lady Harding Medical College in Delhi, India in 1976. She completed her pediatrics residency training at Nassau County Medical Center in New York, where she also spent a year as chief resident. She then went on to do a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Disease at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Soon after she started in private practice and was the founding member of Kidz Health.
Along with her associates she is on staff and holds privileges at Lurie Childrens Hospital, Prentice Women’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital and St Joseph Hospital.
Dr. Ghaey is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University. In addition, she is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Chicago Medical Society, Chicago Pediatrics Society, and Illinois State Medical Society. She holds several leadership positions in the medical societies including serving on the board.
Dr. Ghaey is married with 2 grown children. In her free time she volunteers at the Field Museum of Natural History, and is involved in several women’s and children’s causes.

Dr. Margo Jankelow

Dr. Jankelow came to Chicago in 1988 after graduating from the University of Witwatersrand Medical School in South Africa. She did her pediatrics residency at the University of Chicago where she also spent a year as Chief Resident. After two years of fellowship in hematology/oncology, she joined Dr. Ghaey at Kidz Health in 1995.
She holds privileges at Advocate Illinois Masonic, St. Joseph Hospital, Prentice Woman's Hospital, and Lurie Children's Hospital. She also teaches family practice residents at St. Joseph Hospital and holds a faculty appointment at Northwestern University. Her special interests include obesity and school and developmental problems.
She is married with three wonderful children. In her free time, she enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with her children.
